Position: Freight Manager
Experience: Minimum 10 years in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations
Location: Dubai, UAE
Employment Type: Full-time | Mid-Senior Level
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage freight forwarding and operational logistics teams
- Drive operational excellence through strategic planning and process optimisation
- Ensure full compliance with global shipping regulations (INCOTERMS, customs, etc.)
- Manage vendor and carrier relationships to optimise service and cost
- Utilise freight software platforms (Cargo Wise, SAP, or similar) for operational efficiency
- Develop KPIS, monitor performance, and implement continuous improvements
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 10 years of freight and logistics management experience
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organisational capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of international shipping procedures and documentation
- Expertise in freight management systems and logistics technology
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
